Compose - a solution to the media-mix challenge
KMR Group is delighted to announce the launch of Compose, the new channel planning service.
Compose is a truly innovative concept. Through a combination of survey research, modelling and software it enables users to keep pace with the needs of channel planning, allowing the choice of channel mix to be made confidently dependent on campaign objectives.
The first Compose service has recently been launched in the UK, with initial support from three media agency sponsors: Mediacom, Mindshare and OMD.
The survey data cover firstly the factors in consumer decision-making across 28 product sectors, and secondly the delivery of 26 different communications channels in delivering the traits that an agency or advertiser might want to convey.
This information is combined with the reach and frequency potential and costs of all the channels included and modeled into a full channel planning software system.
Compose has been constructed by KMR in partnership with PointLogic.
Jo NcNeil, Consumer Insight Manager at Mediacom UK, believes that the great strength of Compose is that all media channels are measured in one place and are assessed on a comparable basis. She believes that there is a major advantage in the fact that Compose is directly related to TGI through the route of respondent re-contact. 'It's what the planners are used to', she reasons.
